IIT Gandhinagar (IITGN) invites applications for the Post-Doctoral Research fellow positions

                                              

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) invites applications from Indian nationals for the two Post Doctoral Fellow positions available in the Ultrafast Spectroscopy Research Group of Prof. Partha Pratim Roy at IIT Gandhinagar for an experimental research project focused on studying the photoinduced dynamics and materials properties enabling advancement in solar energy conversion and optoelectronics.

Position:  Post Doctoral Fellow

Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Partha Pratim Roy

Job Description: As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will:

• Conduct cutting-edge research in time-resolved spectroscopy with applications in solar energy and organic optoelectronic materials.
• Be involved in material fabrication and characterization.
• Mentoring Masters and PhD students and contribute to manuscript writing for publications.

Eligibility: 

• A consistently good academic record (a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onwards and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th).
• Ph.D. degree (or thesis submitted) in Chemistry, Physics, or Material Science.
• Candidates with expertise in organic optoelectronic materials, spectroscopy, and material fabrication are highly encouraged to apply.
• Experience in organic synthesis is advantageous.

Age Limit: Below 35 Years (As on last date of application)

Duration: Initial appointment is for 1 year, extendable based on performance

Fellowship: 72,000 INR per month (consolidated)
