IIT Hyderabad, India invites applications for Post-doctoral Research Fellow position

                                                    


THE INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY HYDERABAD invites applications from Indian nationals only for the Post-doctoral Research Fellow position in the Department of Biomedical Engineering purely on a contract basis.

Position:  Post-doctoral Research Fellow

Principal Investigator:  Dr. Subha Narayan Rath

Title of the Project: Autologous islet transplantation in pancreas resection patients with clinical validation: Role of immunoisolation devices for islet survival

Funding Agency: ICMR, India for Project scientist-III

Tenure:  One year extendible further as per work progress and grant sanction.

Minimum Qualification: PhD/Masters in (Biomedical Engineering, Life sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical engineering or equivalent Biosciences degrees) with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. One year post-PhD RESEARCH work experience with demonstrable skills in diabetes or related field.

Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge of primary stem cell isolation AND transcriptomics or molecular biology AND 3d spheroid/organoid culture.    Publication with first author high-IF journals will have added advantage.

Age: Not more than 38 years

Fellowship: Rs. 1,00,000/ approx. per month (HRA included)
