Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) invites applications from Indian nationals for the Project Scientist I position in the Center for Creative Learning, purely on a contract basis.
Position: Project Scientist I

Job Description: Below is the list of desirable experience and responsibilities for the candidate:
- Should be interested in fundamental research in mathematics and particularly interested in adapting his/her research to create smaller, classroom-friendly problems that can foster student interest in mathematics.
- A strong background in Combinatorial Game Theory, Complexity, and the theory of Mathematical Games.
- They should have good communication and facilitation skills in English and Hindi to conduct teacher workshops and design workshop modules.
Minimum Qualification:
The candidate should have:- A PhD OR
- 1st class or equivalent in M.Tech./M.S. with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience OR
- 1st class or equivalent in M.Sc./B.Tech/B.E. with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience OR
- 1st class or equivalent in B.Sc./B.C.A with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience
Candidates should have a minimum of 60% or an equivalent grade in percentage/grade points from Graduation onward and 55% or an equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th.
Age Limit: Below 35 Years (As on last date of application)
Duration: The appointment is for one year.
Fellowship: Rs 60,000 to 93,000, depending on the qualification and experience of the candidate.
