Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore), an Institute of National Importance, is

IIT Indore invites online applications from candidates with an established record of independent, high-quality research and commitment to teaching and research for faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor (Grades I & II) and Associate Professor for the following positions.
School: School of Innovation (Design and Communication, Innovation, System Design, Project Planning and Management).
Total number of vacancies: 10 (UR-04, OBC-NCL-02, SC-02, ST-02)
Qualification:
(a) Assistant Professor Grade II:
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
- The position of Assistant Professor Grade II will be on a contract basis.
- Age: Maximum 32 years
(b) Assistant Professor Grade I:
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
- Experience: Minimum three years of industrial/research/teaching experience, excluding, however, the experience gained while pursuing a Ph.D.
- Age: Maximum 35 years
- Educational Qualification: PhD with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
- Experience: Minimum six years of teaching/ industry, or research experience, of which at least three years experience should be at the level of Assistant Professor (Grade I), Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer.
Reservations: Reservation and relaxation are applicable as per GOI rules for SC, ST, OBC-NCL and
PWD applicants. The benefit of reservation under Economically Weaker Section
(EWS) can be availed upon production of an Income and Asset Certificate issued by
authorized officials in prescribed format as per GOI norms. Candidates should submit
their valid SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/ Disability Certificate issued by the competent
authority in the prescribed format along with the application form in support of their
claim.
