Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Assam, invites applications for an online interview from Indian nationals only for Sr. Project Engineer/Project Scientist/Assistant Project Engineer positions in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, purely on a contract basis.

Position:  Sr. Project Engineer/Project Scientist/Assistant Project Engineer

Principal Investigator: Dr. Gaurav Trivedi

Title of the Project: Design and Development of AI/ML Co-Processor and Post Quantum Cryptography Co-Processor (An Initiative towards Electronics System Design and Manufacturing in North-East Region)

Qualification:

(A) Sr. Project Engineer:

(1) Ph.D. in EC/EE/CS OR (2) MTech/ME in VLSI/Microelectronics/CS with 4 Years of relevant experience OR (3) BTech/BE in EC/EE/CS with 6 years relevant experience. Candidates having knowledge of chip signoff/tape-out the commercial EDA tools and the VLSI Design flow are preferred.

(B) Project Scientist:

(1) Ph.D. in VLSI/Microelectronics/CS, OR MTech/ME in VLSI/Microelectronics/CS with 2 years of relevant experience OR (2) BTech/BE in EC/EE/CS with 4 years relevant experience. Candidates having knowledge of chip signoff/tape-out and the commercial EDA tools and the VLSI design flow, RTL design/data verification OR DFT/synthesis OR physical design, and signoff are preferred.

(C) Assistant Project Engineer:

Bachelor's degree in EC/EE/CS with a background in RTL Design/Data Verification OR DFT/Synthesis OR Physical Design, Signoff.

Duration: 6 months

Fellowship: 

(A) Sr. Project Engineer: 89750 per month (Including HRA & Medical)

(B) Project Scientist: 67330 per month (Including HRA & Medical)

(C) Assistant Project Engineer: 34880 per month (Including HRA & Medical)

Selection Mode: Online Interview

Selection Process: The shortlisted candidates have to appear in the online interview. Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview. The selection committee will decide on a suitable candidate after the interview. Candidates will not be sent any call letter separately. 

No campus accommodation will be available for the selected candidates.
