The Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the Research Associate-I (RA-I) position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Chemical Sciences

Title of the Project: Constructing Chemically Robust Covalent Organic Nanotubes (CONTs) Coated Zeolites for Metal-Free CO2 Capture and Photocatalytic CO2 Conversion in Water.

Funding Agency: Department of Science and Technology (DST)

Tenure of Project: Initially for a period of 12 months, extendable for a further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent.

Job Responsibilities: The research involves Constructing Chemically Robust Covalent Organic Nanotubes (CONTs) Coated Zeolites for Metal Free CO2 Capture and Photocatalytic CO2 Conversion in Water.

Essential Qualifications: Motivated candidates with a Ph.D. degree (General Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry/Physical Chemistry/Material Science).

Fellowship:  Rs. 58,000/- per month + HRA (27%)

Age Limit: Must not be over 34 years as on 11th December 2024, which can be relaxed for certain reserved categories as per the rules of the Government of India. Relaxation in age, educational qualification, or experience may be considered in the case of exceptionally meritorious candidates.
