Position: Project Scientist-II(One)
Title of project: Integrated Centre for Adaptation to Climate Change, Disaster Resilience and Sustainability (ICARS).

Qualifications: Doctoral Degree (Science/_ Technology) with experience in Capacity Building and Case Studies.
Desirable Skills/Experience: Research experience in Geo-informatics/ Remote sensing. Experience in satellite data classification and field data collection from advanced equipments in the natural environment. Programming skills such as MATLAB, R. and Python.
Duration: 5 years or the project completion duration, wherever is carlier.
Job description:
- Assist PI & Co-Pl and coordinate with the team in project management and steering,
- Collect, analyze, and interpret various primary & secondary data/literature references to climate adaptation and resilience, HRVA, Sectoral planning. Human Resource Development, etc,
- Assist by contributing to drafting the documents and related coordination, sectoral strategies and toolkits, annual reports, DPRs, Research Frameworks. Agendas, etc.
- Assist in carrying out Training Need Analysis (TNA), Capacity Gap & Needs (CNAs), Policy Planning. Competeney 2 strategies, Training manual development, Sectoral DRR and adaptation strategies, etc
- Assist in conducting/ organizing meetings and training programmes
- Project management- and other work assigned by the PI and in sync by the Professor 1/e (CARS) from time to time
- This position is for the Greater Noida Campus of IlT Roorkee
