Principal Investigator: Prof. Roopam Shukla
Title of the Project: Development of Malaria Prediction Tool through spatio-temporal modeling for Andhra Pradesh
Job description: The candidate will be involved in the project "Development of Malaria Prediction Tool through Spatio-temporal Modeling for Andhra Pradesh". A strongbackground in remote sensing and earth observation data analysis is required.
Sponsor of the project: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)
Tenure: Upto January 2025
Qualification:
- Master's Degree in Disaster Mitigation and Management, Geomatics, Environmental Science, Biotechnology or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science, Mathematics, Biotechnology or equivalent
- Strong expertise in programming language (R"/Google Earth Engine/Arc GIS/ERDAS, Python)
- Should be able to take initiatives independently and work in a team.
Fellowship: Rs. 67,000/- + HRA (as per Institute Rule)
