Minimum Qualification: A master's degree in fields such as Management, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Economics, or related disciplines is required. Candidates with an MBA & relevant research experience in sustainable tourism, community development, or rural livelihoods will be given preference.
Desirable Qualification and Experience: Research Skills: Min 6 months of Proven experience in conducting both primary and secondary research, including literature reviews, data collection, and policy analysis. Familiarity with market analysis and impact assessments is essential. Analytical Expertise: Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to work with quantitative and qualitative datasets, analyze trends, and derive actionable insights. Experience with Analytical software tools (e.g. Python, R, Stata, SQL, Tablue, Power BI, Advance Excel, etc) will be an advantage. Technical Skills: Proficiency in web design and content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, along with a basic understanding of SEO. Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) to create infographics and promotional materials. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, including local communities, government bodies, and tourism boards. Strong public speaking and presentation skills to contribute to workshops and outreach activities. Project Management: Experience in managing multi-stakeholder projects, preferably in tourism or community development sectors. Ability to balance multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and collaborate with field teams to achieve project goals. Knowledge of the Local Context: Familiarity with the socio-economic landscape of Odisha or similar rural contexts, particularly with respect to community-driven tourism models. Knowledge of local governance structures, women’s self-help groups (WSHGs), and farmer-producer organizations (FPOs) is desirable.
Fellowship: Up to Rs.45000(depending upon qualification & experience)
