SVNIT Surat invites applications for Regular Faculty Positions

                                                  

Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) Surat is established by the Government of India by an Act of Parliament, offering undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and doctoral programs in engineering, technology, and the sciences. The institute invites applications for the post of Assistant Professor in the following departments of the Institute from Indian nationals fulfilling eligibility criteria, possessing excellent academic records, commitment to quality teaching and research, and a propensity for institutional development.

Departments for the Post of Assistant Professor Grade-I (Pay Level 12):

1. Department of Computer Science & Engineering
2. Department of Artificial Intelligence 

Departments for the Post of Assistant Professor Grade-II (Pay Level 10):

1. Department of Computer Science & Engineering 
2. Department of Artificial Intelligence 
3. Department of Management Studies

Qualification and Experience: The Essential educational qualifications, experience, credit points, and other terms and conditions shall be as per Schedule ‘E’ of the NIT Statute, published in the Gazette of India on 24th July 2017, 12th June 2023 and as updated from time to time by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. Note: The minimum educational qualifications and desirable areas of specialization in the departments are given in Annexure II which is available on the institute website. However, the Institute reserves the right to select/ consider any other area of specialization and adopt a suitable process for screening of candidates for interview. The candidates applying under the OBC (NCL)/ EWS category have to produce the valid certificate issued on or after 1st April 2024. 

The candidate appeared for an interview before the selection committee for the post of Assistant Professor (Grade II) in the Department of Computer Sciences and Engineering/ Department of Artificial Intelligence two or more times against the advertisement No. Estt./2023/Faculty/3336 dated: 15/03/2023, Estt./2023/Faculty/3336/II/2475 dated 18/09/2023, and Estt./2023/Faculty/3336/IV/4628 dated 15/03/2024 need not apply again against this advertisement.
