Position: Project Fellow / Research Associate / Project Associate (One)
Principal Investigator: Prof. Arun Kumar
Title of the Project: Carrying out potential assessment on non-powered dams and other water resources structures in India
Job description: Identification of non-powered dams, desktop and field study related to location, potential assessment, and possible annual energy generation based on water availability, power evacuation, and report preparation
Sponsor of the project: MNRE New Delhi
Tenure: 1 year or up to the project completion date
Essential Qualification:
i) Project Fellow: Ph.D. in Civil/ Hydropower/Water Resources Engineering or related areas OR M Tech in Civil/ Hydropower/Water Resources Engineering with 3 years experience or related areas OR B Tech in Civil/ Hydropower/Water Resources Engineering with 6 years' experience.
(ii) Research Associate: M. Tech in Civil/ Hydropower/Water Resources Engineering
(iii) Project Associate: B Tech in Civil/ Hydropower/Water Resources Engineering
Desirable Qualification: Background in hydropower, mines for use of water storage, engineering geology
Fellowship:
Project Fellow - Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 1,00,000/- + HRA per month
Research Associate - Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 75,000/- + HRA per month
Project Associate - Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 60,000/- + HRA per month
Selection Mode: Walk-in-Interview
