Position: Junior Research Fellow and/or Research Associate-I
Project Title: Development of nitrogen-vacancy based quantum register
Funding Agency: I-HUB Quantum Technology Foundation
Project description: The project involves development of tools and techniques that exploits atom-like defects in diamond as quantum sensors to achieve very high sensitivities and micron scale resolution.
Tenure: 6 months
Eligibility:
- Research Associate-I: PhD in Experimental Quantum Physics with good academic record.
- Junior Research Fellow: M. Sc. in Physics, M.Tech/ B.Tech in ECE/EE/CS/Physics or related disciplines with good academic record (first class/division or minimum CPI of 7.0/10.0). Candidate must have qualified for a National Eligibility Test (UGC, CSIR, LS, GATE, etc.) with a valid rank/score at the time of applying for this post.
Essential Qualification: Candidates having experience with 2D Materials, Optics, Photonics, Nanofabrication, Quantum Information, Scanning Probe Microscopy, Magneto-optical Characterization Techniques, Cryogenics, FPGA and Arduino, Lock-in Techniques, Python Programming, Electron Spin Resonance and Atomic Magnetometry will be preferred.
Fellowship:
- Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 37,000 p.m. + HRA (16%).
- Research Associate-I: Rs. 58,000 p.m. + HRA (16%)
