National Institute of Technology Hamirpur invites eligible candidates to hold walk-in interviews to recruit Assistant Professors (Purely on a contract basis) on a semester basis with a provision that can be extended up to one year in various departments.

ELIGIBILITY/QUALIFICATION:

• For all Departments & Centers (except the Department of Architecture): Ph. D Degree in a relevant field or equivalent discipline shall have first class in the preceding degree(s).

Note: If suitable Ph. D candidates are not available for (i) Department of Computer Science & Engineering and (ii) for Computing Science in the Department of Mathematics & Scientific Computing only, then candidates having master's degree with first class both at PG & UG level shall be considered at monthly salary @ 70,000/- per month.

• For Department of Architecture: Degree in a relevant field or equivalent discipline shall have first class in the preceding degree(s). 

Note: If suitable Ph. D candidates are not available for the Department of Architecture then candidates having M.Arch./M.Plan. Degree with first class both at PG & UG level (B.Arch./B.Plan.) and one-year professional experience also be considered.

Consolidated Remuneration: 

1. Rs. 80,000/- (Rupees Eighty Thousand) only per month consolidated for Ph. D Candidate.
2. Rs. 70,000/- (Rupees Seventy Thousand) only per month consolidated for Computer Science and Engineering (in DoCSE), Computer Science (in DoMSC), and M.Arch./M.Plan. Degree holders in (DoArch).
